ReplyDeleteSo I finished Edgar...It was a very good book, but one that has a deeper meaning that what is written on the pages. Once I read some reviews about it I understood it more, but the characters are very rememberable, and the story was well written. It is about a family who breeds dogs with extrodinary talent, bred by specific standards passed down from Edgar's Grandfather. I wouldn't recommend reading the cover flap, as it gives away many plot items that surprised along the way. I would recommend Edgar as a book to read to anyone that loves dogs, but its not a 'Marley and Me' type book. This books delves more into the relationship of a boy and his dogs, and how he communicates with him, even though he was born mute. Read it, and let me know what you think!
